Our Wedding

We met in Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2022, when one of us was there for a college internship. From that very first moment, we felt an instant connection. After that semester, we still had one more semester left in college — in different cities — so we navigated the distance with late-night calls, weekend visits, and constant texts that kept us close. Once we graduated, we reunited in D.C. before making the move to Chicago, where we now live together and are building a life full of laughter, adventure, and plenty of deep-dish pizza. We’re so excited to share this next chapter with all of you!

If you're looking for a fun and scenic way to experience the city, we highly recommend the Chicago Architecture River Tour. It's a 90-minute boat ride along the Chicago River that gives you stunning views of the skyline while learning about the city's rich architectural history. From historic landmarks to modern skyscrapers, it's a beautiful and relaxing way to see Chicago — especially if it's your first time visiting!

Located at the top of the iconic John Hancock Building,&nbsp;360 Chicago&nbsp;offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline, Lake Michigan, and (on a clear day) up to four different states! It's the perfect place to take in Chicago from above — whether you're sipping a cocktail at the sky-high bar or daring to try&nbsp;TILT, a one-of-a-kind thrill ride that leans you out over Michigan Avenue nearly 1,000 feet in the air. This is one of our favorite ways to see the city and a great activity for out-of-town guests looking for a memorable Chicago experience!

John Hancock

Officially named&nbsp;Cloud Gate, “The Bean” is one of Chicago’s most iconic landmarks, located in Millennium Park. Its shiny, mirror-like surface reflects the city skyline, the sky, and everyone around it — making it a perfect spot for fun photos (yes, selfies are a must!). Whether you're visiting Chicago for the first time or just love a good photo op, The Bean is a quick and memorable stop in the heart of downtown. It’s a short walk from many other attractions, and a great way to soak in the city.

Just steps from our hotel — right across the street! —&nbsp;Oak Street Beach&nbsp;is one of Chicago’s most scenic lakefront spots. With soft sand, views of the skyline, and the blue waters of Lake Michigan, it’s a perfect place to relax, take a walk, or even grab a drink at the beachside café. Whether you’re looking to sunbathe, people-watch, or just enjoy some fresh air, Oak Street Beach is a beautiful and easy getaway without ever leaving the city.
